My 2 Second Shelf Life

"...singing O Canada is no longer a daily morning event at Belleisle Elementary. The school's principal has dropped it in response to concerns from other parents."

...I get why people are enraged.

It's the whole tail "wagging the dog" syndrome.
Why should a few parents dictate?
...and where are children supposed to learn the National Anthem anyway, if it's not going to be at school?

This is one of my pet peeves.
This country deserves some respect from it's residents.
Can we not stand up for the National Anthem?

Apparently, we can't stand up collectively for anything anymore.
