Rest in Peace Maggie Jones

Maggie joins the Barlow family at an AA meeting for Peter...this is an awesome scene.
Almost as good as the Sopranos intervention scene for Christopher.

Hilarious.

Things Jamaicans Love

(Need I say more?)

A morsel from the ramblings section:

"If you spot an elderly lady at the Airport check-in counter in Cayman, with a suitcase the size of a fridge, which she has just “discovered” is 40 pounds overweight, then it’s possible that this lady is Jamaican. If she opens the suitcase to reveal large quantities of cornflakes, cooking oil and flour then she is most likely a Jamaican. If she tries to persuade you to carry her excess baggage to Jamaica in your luggage then she is definitely Jamaican."

The Heene's on Wife Swap...the kid who wasn't in the balloon today:

(I didn't bother with part one because it's just promotion for the program)

Part 3
Part 4
Part 5

...all I can say is that everyone lives differently.
The Heene's live differently than most, with boundaries clearly not playing a huge part in their lives.

Whose idea was this?

Are we going to the beach, or to the Emmy's?

If it was Victoria Rowells', idea to wear this novelty beach towel...her stylist should have stopped her.
If it was her stylist's idea, he/she should be fired.

Stat.

Heartwarming and heartbreaking story of Wayman Tisdale.

From Wiki:

Wayman Lawrence Tisdale (June 9, 1964 – May 15, 2009) was an American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association and a smooth jazz bass guitarist. A three-time All American at the University of Oklahoma, he was elected to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.

Tisdale died on the morning of May 15, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where his wife had taken him when he had trouble breathing. Tisdale's agent described his death as a "great shock" and noted that Tisdale had been planning to go into the recording studio the following week for a project with jazz guitarist Norman Brown. As yet, it is unconfirmed whether his death was related to his battle with cancer. Tisdale and his wife Regina had four children.

...and some of his music:

On May 21, 2009, 4,000 mourners attended Tisdale's memorial service at the BOK Center in Tulsa. In June 2009 the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa announced that its new specialty health clinic in north Tulsa would be named in Tisdale's honor.

...and his passing:

Act One. Fred and Barney.

Contributing editor Jonathan Goldstein’s story about trouble in the

Town of Bedrock. One day, when he’s backing out of his driveway, Barney accidentally runs over and kills a dinosaur that belongs to his neighbor and best friend, Fred. In the ensuing series of phone messages (performed by Jonathan [as Barney] and contributor David Rakoff [as Fred]), the two friends air some long-simmering grievances in their friendship—which might end it altogether.

Seriously.
It's worth listening to the whole segment, but the Fred and Barney bit cracked me up.
It starts at 6:02
